Senior Team Leader Reporting

Purpose of the role
In Global Blue the Shared Service organization provides centralized finance and accounting services to the Group.
We are registered on the NYSE and we are active in a dynamically growing industry, SOX compliance and continuous improvement is key for our success.
The Reporting Team leader is a senior reporting expert who takes care of the group reporting, statutory reporting, SOX compliance and decision support of a cluster of entities and manages a small team
- Responsabilities
- People leader of the cluster based reporting team: coordinates recruiting, training, and onboarding of new team members, actively supports the talent development of key people in the team
- Assist with performance management processes (e.g., goal setting, performance evaluation, performance-based career path planning)
- Performs and supervises reporting activities
- Manages Group month end close activities of the entity, prepares monthly/quarterly/annual summary unit review package for auditors and senior management
- Ensures data completeness, accuracy and timeliness for IRIS reporting
- Manages the Statutory close and reporting of the entity
- Provides cross-team coordination with AP, GL and other Finance teams to ensure a smooth and compliant close
- Owner of the SOX controls of the entity
- Supports critical business decisions by analyzing finance metrics
- Single point of contact for the business

- Broad knowledge of IFRS; experience applying IFRS at the transaction and financial reporting levels
- Experience converting an entity from a national GAAP to IFRS and/or design of SOX controls is an advantage
- Experience training others in IFRS

- Qualifications and education requirements
- Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting
- Minimum 7 years of practical experience in finance or accounting, out of it minimum 2 years in team leader role
- Understanding of SOX controls, experience in an international SOX and IFRS accounting environment
- Very good MS-Office skills, especially Excel, experience in working with accounting software’s
- Advanced understanding of accounting ERP modules
- Excellent English language skills (oral & written), other language is a plus
