In this interesting role, you will provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services across the organization to identify and mitigate relevant risks and to add value and improve the organization’s operations in accordance with the IIA Standards and pertaining regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible to coordinate and develop the Internal Audit function group-wide and seize potential for improvements.
 

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain the audit universe and the risk-based long-term audit plan

• Prepare the annual audit plan endorsed by BoM and Audit Committee

• Plan and execute financial, operational, compliance, system, and management audits in Austria and internationally (group wide) according to the annual audit plan

• Manage/Conduct special audits and investigations

• Monitor timely implementation of audit recommendations and agreed changes in processes and organizational measures and validate corrective measures implemented

• Advise business units on risk mitigation, process and efficiency improvements

• Prepare and deliver reports to all levels of management and conduct or participate in meetings and discussions

• Continuous improvement of the Internal Audit process and methodology

 
Your Profile

• Excellent knowledge of international auditing standards and procedures, relevant laws and regulations

• University degree in business administration, finance, or similar

• Specific certification(s) such as CIA, CPA, CFE, or similar qualification desired

• Minimum of 8 years working experience as internal auditor preferably in the manufacturing industry or as audit manager in an international audit firm

• Profound understanding of commercial/financial topics and processes

• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, SAP, audit software, analytic tools

• Ability to structure complex processes, manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports

• Fluent in German and English 

• Excellent analytical skills, high intercultural awareness and good communication skills

• Sound independent judgment, objectivity and integrity

• Self-organized and confident demeanour, persistence and authority

• Flexibility and readiness to travel
