To complement their team in Vienna, our client is seeking a:
System Engineer - Railway (m,f,x)
Your Tasks:- Develop network architectures for international telecommunications projects (GSM-R, LTE, 5G, FRMCS, IMS, SIP-Core)
- Create high-level design documents (e.g., system descriptions)
- Create low-level design documents for individual network components
- Create traffic models and capacity and availability calculations (e.g., SS7/SIP/IP)
- Coordinate internal experts and external suppliers
- Participate in customer workshops
- Create engineering guidelines for newly introduced products
- Completed studies in IT/telecommunications or a comparable field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a technical environment
- Good knowledge of at least some of the telecommunications protocols (GSM-R/FRMCS, IMS, SIP, 5G, 4G...)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of English skills
- Willingness to travel (5-10%) and possession of a driver's license
- Ability to work in a team and individually
- Flexible working hours and the possibility of home office
- The salary for this position starts at 60,000 € gross annual salary + standby pay, with the possibility of additional payment depending on your experience and qualifications
