SOFTWARE PROJECT MANAGER

For their office in Vienna, they are currently looking for a:SOFTWARE PROJECT MANAGER
YOUR CHALLENGE- Technical project management and coordination of the development of next generation interlocking control systems
- Managing project with respect to project milestones, scope and budget
- Working in the area of safety critical systems
- Manage issues and risks, create mitigation plans and escalate to appropriate stakeholders as necessary
- Communication and reporting of status and critical issues in a short and concise format
- Working in an international team and in cooperation with other business line units
- Technical education, preferably Master studies in Computer Science or similar
- Minimum 3 years experience with technical project management with a focus of SW resp. SW/HW engineering projects
- Knowledge of safety critical systems or experience in railway domain is an advantage
- Positive attitude and persistence are key to succeed in this role
- Competitive mindset, strong desire to achieve
- Knowledge of project management tools (Primavera)
- Good level of English

- Average of 30 vacation days per year: 23 days per agreement + 5 days of adjustment for possible overtime compensation + 2 days cultural festivities The salary for this position ranges from € 60.000 to € 90.000 gross p.a. Actual compensation is based on experience and qualification and can exceed the mentioned range.
